Welcome to a world of unpredictable happenings and evil lurking around dark corners. The world is in a state of unorganized chaos, with feuding tribes as well as 'good' and 'evil' beings ready to laugh at each other. Peace is un-heard of amongst the different classes because there only seems room for one kind. Who will conquer?

Dilapidated buildings overgrown with foliage are the center of the city, and the heart and home of the Seraonis Tribe. The shadows and high places offer shelter and a place away from prying eyes where they have their own hideaway and safe place away from the rest of the city. They are known to be quick on their feet and thus more found on rooftops and amongst the taller buildings. Though, the foliage that has grown over the steel structure gives a better camouflage and the vines are a base for the bridges that they've built to connect the three main buildings that they use.

One would usually know this place as a 'park', though the once high and mighty citizens of this 'would be great' city would never lower themselves to such a level as to call it a lowly 'park'. The meaning of this park has long been lost to time, but it has been said simply that the park had been the site of countless cruel acts in the past from hangings to murders; thus Crudelis Estate was dubbed it's righteous name. The governor was said to have desired to build his own home upon the endless acreage of endless woodland, lakes, and green rolling grasses. The construction had been a week off from completion; it has a roof, walls, and three stories completed. Though there is nothing of value inside, it is shelter none-the-less. The Mourvox Tribe makes their headquarters here, smack-dab in the very heart of Crudelis Estate.

The small lake is stained a disgusting green-black, filled with debris and rotting bodies. The stench coming from the lake is almost unbearable. The virus had only just began to leap the species barrier from humans to animals when it finally dissipated. It left this lake barren of life, now a body of stagnant water infected and riddled with disease. There is also said to be some sort of monster, almost as if the legend of Loch Ness had come to life. All around the water source are decaying houses and buildings engulfed by a thick forest of huge pine trees that litter the ground with needles. There are bones of animals scattered about here as well, though most have gone back to the earth or been carried away.

Empty windowpanes glare miserably out at the world, with gaping holes in the walls and roof of the two story building. The aged wooden structure is splintered and worn, its original red painting faded and scratched off. There are random splotches of the red paint that still remain, making the building look beaten and bloody. Half of the second story looks as if could collapse at any moment and the peeling white halls are strewn with litter. The rooms inside are filled with lines of broken and moldy cots, with a few remnants of the children left behind, a few measly toys. Most everything else was stolen. This establishment was once an orphanage, and is said to still be. The Ragged School is said to harbor the lost and troubled souls of all the children who died of the virus, abandoned without care by the rest of the world.

The once beautiful structure now sits in ruins and doesn’t come close to the majestic nature it had once shown. The stone structure is crumbling as foliage grows into the cracks from beneath the floorboards or into the walls of the place. Most of the stained glass has been destroyed, though the main picture that was a simple design stands mostly in tact, the light that shines through its multi-colored panes illuminate the statue of Mary that looks down with a rugged face. Most the pews are rotted or turned over, and even though the place of ruin has a depressing air to it, it also has a mysterious calm that hangs within its walls.

Though it isn't a palisade, it is similar in design. This, is the massive wall that separates all those who dwell underground from the rest of the infected world. Its jagged stone walls are armored with thick plates of mismatched steel and bricks, with sharp stones of all sizes randomly placed throughout. Though, its name originated from the wooden and steel stakes that jut up from the wall’s bowels and set up a thick line of defense all the way along, and up, the barricade. Smaller spikes are even set between the larger stakes so as not to leave an option to scale the wall. The gates are rumored to be made of solid steel, with large and ingeniously complicated locks to keep anyone from going in or out; though there are privileged few who may.

This is the meeting place of the I.A. and no one except it's members or special circumstances may enter it's walls. It is located in the heart of the underground sanctuary. Though one would think this to be an impressive looking structure, it is actually quite the opposite. It's arched and circular design are surely a feat for such close quarters, but it's construction seems almost haphazard; it tilts to one side as if on a slant, and seems to be sinking the slightest bit. The only magnificent part about the building are the endless windows running up the walls of the dome, though they are all ceremoniously shuttered for privacy. There was once a project in the workings to rebuild it, but the citizens of The Underground refused to let the I.A. use up the remaining supplies.

This district houses the residents of 'The Pure', varying from large structures that stand two stories tall, to three room houses. The cheaper homes near the front of the wall that blocks this place in, whereas the larger homes are more towards the back.

It is dangerous to go beyond the walls of the Inner City, but for those who dare are choosing to enter into a maze of labyrinthine tunnels. The aging tunnels are in reality the abandoned sewage lines used by the old city long ago. Thin trickles of water still seep in from above, though it is often stagnant runoff and not safe to drink, while loose bricks drop onto unsuspecting heads. It is not actually a law to leave the city, but it is well known as “strictly forbidden”. Parents and law enforcement all say but one thing to the curious children.
“The bodies are never found.”
